A sample of essay writing using the modified form of the Latin language is most often used in non-fiction writing courses su ch as sociology, history, English, and creative writing.Other writing styles, such as the Associated Press Stylebook and the Chicago Manual of Style, define the various formatting. Most college and university students prefer the MLA format. However, writing samples in other forms such as the AP style or the Chicago Manual of Style are appropriate for business professionals, authors, and for professional scholars.
